​A JOURNEY OF FAITH & RESILIENCE

In 2010, at just 30 years old, I underwent surgery to remove a large tumor in my neck. The surgery left me unable to work, permanently damaged my voice, & nearly took my spirit. While battling Stage III cancer, I faced profound uncertainty about my future and struggled to communicate.  During this difficult season, I turned to crafting handmade items for family, friends, and coworkers as a way to express myself, cope with hardship, & regain purpose. What began as healing slowly became a calling.

 

ROOTED IN SERVICE

Service to others has always been the foundation of my life and career.  For more than 16 years, I have worked as a Physician Assistant in hospital medicine and critical care, caring for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.

At the bedside, I witnessed firsthand the emotional impact that meaningful, personalized items can have—bringing comfort, dignity, and connection during life’s hardest battles.

These experiences inspired the creation of Designs by Kibbie, LLC. 

Today, we offer custom embroidery, sewn goods, apparel, & home accessories for individuals, families, healthcare workers, and small organizations seeking thoughtful, personalized gifts & keepsakes.
